The following is news received from Pat's sister, Kathy:
"Uncle John Merrill, Eva's husband, died last Sat. 9/20/08. Oddly, it was on the same day as Mother Nora passed away 43 years before.
"I am in Arizona now for the funeral. I am staying with Kurt and Sharon Merrill. I will send more details later. Please pass on info to your family. John Lyman Merrill was 92 years old. He served as a judge in Mesa, AZ for many years and retired in Lake Montezuma, AZ up in the mountains. The funeral was there today. The burial is tomorrow, 9/27 near the Mesa Temple."
This was Grandpa Merrill's brother. It is not Pat's brother who lives in Washington State.
