It's almost time to go to Germany! We leave on 8 September at 8:15 a.m., which means that we have to be ready to leave here at the MTC at 5 a.m. That also means we must be up at least by 4 a.m. We hope to have everything packed but the clothes we will be wearing by Saturday night, so we can enjoy our Sabbath day.
The training this week has been very intensive also. We have been having daily lessons from the "Preach My Gospel" manual and experiences of teaching lessons on The Restoration, The Plan of Salvation, The Gospel of Jesus Christ, etc. and then teaching those lessons to investigators. They of course asked volunteer members to come and act as investigators, and most of them are very convincing. It is great training. On Thursday we were taken up to the call center and set up to take calls from people wanting something because they responded to an add in the T.V. We were all so scared and psyched up. Then no one called in our room. There were so many of us that we had six or seven rooms set up with about ten missionaries in each room. We were on the tail end of that group, so I guess we didn't get any. But it was exciting just to be in that site and be ready to do the answering. They said we could come back any free time and take calls. Our problem is that we are also doing language training in the evenings and no extra time is available. But it was a neat experience anyway.
We have three more days until leaving for Germany and we will still be very busy. Time to be off. Love to all our family and friends.
