It has been hard not knowing exactly what we were going to do on our mission. We assumed it would be something to do with Family History, but we haven't heard anything from our area President. However yesterday, August 7, we got a call from the Mission Training Center in Provo telling us that they wanted us to take a special training class from the Family History Center-Utah South all the first week we are in the MTC. In fact we are supposed to check into the MTC at about 7 a.m. on August 25 so we will be able to take the shuttle bus over to the FHC for the training. The class starts and 8 a.m. and they want us to be in that class. So we now know for sure that we will be doing family history work over there in Germany. How exciting! The training class is supposed to be very informative, so we are both anxious to be in that class.
We are almost ready, but with 1 1/2 weeks to go until we leave, it seems our days get busier and busier. But it is great.

Congratulations! What a relief for you to have some direction, even though I know you were willing to do whatever was asked of you. Looks like August 25th will be an interesting morning at our house! We're looking forward to it. :) Love you.
How exciting for you guys. I'm excited we get to see you before you leave since we werent able to go to the reunion. YAY!
