Going Home Party

What a special party we had on 30 June 2010 at our office. Sister Howlett decided that we needed to have a going home party with all our office colleagues. Since most of our staff members were going on vacation or out in the field working in the second week of July, and also it was Sister Howlett's birthday on June 30, it was decided to have the party on that day.

The sisters got together and had a planned potluck luncheon of Sloppy Joes, a vegetable tray, potato salad, snacks, drinks and two beautiful cakes. Nearly everyone from our office was there, except for Tim Manners, who was sick and David Schauperl who was on assignment in Italy.

All of our office colleagues are very special people and we have really enjoyed working with them. Each has important duties furthering the work of Family History in Europe, and each lead very interesting lives. We will always consider it a privilege to have worked with such great people.
